The Model 1282 Digitizer is the successor of our Series 1280 which was in production since 1986. This instrument type was developed as a multipurpose device and provides features not attainable with conventional digitizers. Affectionately called " the arms " by most users, the 1282 digitizer can be positioned on any table always ready to spring into action at a moments notice. As planimeters for area measurements series 1282 digitizers surpass the performance levels of the finest conventional instruments. Along with excellent resolution and accuracy, they feature an exceptional measuring range, making them equally suitable for evaluation of any size area, from very large to very small. There is no need to purchase special software to measure areas and lengths, no need to learn special programs or even to involve a computer.
