Lasico Processors are electronic counters capable of processing digital output generated by a wide range of measuring instruments, electro optical encoders and counting mechanisms. Lasico Processors provide measuring results with automatic scale compensation while maintaining the maximum resolution of the associated instrument. All measurements can be expressed in any measuring unit desired .  Lasico offers several models to meet most requirements: Models SM2, M and XM are basic self scaling processors which can be expanded for work with a host computer by adding a separate single driver interface circuit. The more advanced M2 and XM2 models readily incorporate a multi driver interface circuit. Model M2/XM2 should be the clear choice if work with a host computer is anticipated.

	Model M and XM Model M and XM are nearly identical . While the Model M is equipped with a single scaler section, Model XM incorporates a triple scaler, i.e. it can be precalibrated for three different scales, magnifications, (in microscopy) arm lengths (in planimetry) , etc. The Processor shown is Model XM Accessories: N2 Computer Interface
