Models 1282-24/30/36 and P1282-24/30/36 Featuring a generous active range of 3 x 5’ / 0.9 x 1.5 m , the Model 1282-24 Digitizer pictured here along with the 1282W-24 is the most popular model. In its standard configuration it is suitable for virtually any application. For extra large active range requirements the 1282 is also available with 30 and 36 inch arms. For a higher accuracy level we can supply the P1282 Models. The 1282 Digitizer is a hand crafted and finely tuned instrument and built to last a lifetime. Special features include: It can be clamped or screwed to any desk or table and can be set up for either left hand or right hand operation. It requires very little space when parked, leaving most of your desk free for other work. Since the rear arm is suspended from the base, the cursor glides smoothly with very little friction across the measuring surface, for effortless operation. The tracer arm can be tilted and rotated to accommodate drawing pads and uneven surfaces. A protective spring arrangement prevents accidental damage to the arms if somebody should lean on them.
