Lasico Model 1601-ZAX Z-Axis Adapter

The Z-Axis adapter can be attached to the fine focus knob of most microscopes via a flexible shaft for Depth Measurements. The movement of the Fine Focus Control is digitally encoded (Resolution is 2000 pulses per knob revolution) and scaled to provide results in any measuring unit desired. The Z-axis adapter is mounted to a sheet metal platform, onto which the microscope can be placed. A processor,(SM2, M, XM, M2 or XM2) is needed to operate the ZAX adapter. The 1601-Zax consists of: metal platform (zax-1), mounting block (zax-2), column (zax-3), transducer with cable assy.
