Lasico Model 1282T Series Pattern Digitizer

Except for a removable optical cursor, this instrument type is identical to a standard 1282 Digitizer. The optical cursor can be exchanged with a stylus, which may then be guided along the edge of patterns to obtain their areas and peripheral lengths and to digitize their coordinate representation into a Host Computer. ( example: for work in conjunction with numerically controlled cutting machines )
Patterns of any material like glass, plastic, metal, leather, fabrics, etc. can thus be measured and digitized.
If you do not need the " removable optical cursor ", you should simply order one of the lower cost 1282 Models instead.

1282T models can be clamped or screwed to any table (no special measuring surface is needed) and folded up to a compact package when not in use.
To measure or digitize, simply move the instrument cursor around or along the figure to be evaluated . Measuring results and the X/Y positions are subsequently displayed and can be transmitted to a host computer. Results are fully scale compensated and expressed in either English or Metric unit values.
