The KP 800 is a vastly more advanced version of the successful Koizumi Placom Series planimeters. In addition to significantly more precise area measuring capabilities it can also measure lengths. It also features a built in printer for recording results on a paper tape.

Due to its unique "armless" and compact design, the KP 800 is ideally suited for use in Plan Rooms or wherever table space is severely limited.

 

 

The KP 800 design makes it possible to measure almost out to the very edge of a plan without running the instrument off the drawing or table.
By contrast, competing instruments with long tracer arms need a lot of room in order to measure all the way out to the plan edge.

 

The KP 800
is equipped with a dual line display.
It is located parallel to the wheel axis and can thus be read by both "right and left hand" operators. Most competing instruments are designed strictly for "right hand" operation.

 

 

 Due to its compact design the instrument is supplied in a small and easily carried case, a great advantage for use in the field or for storage.

Measures in stream mode (for irregular shaped areas or lengths, in the point mode for figures consisting of straight lines or a combination of both.

Simultaneous measurement of areas and lengths, i.e. when measuring an area it will also provide the peripheral length.
