Model M2 and XM2 Processors

Shown: Model M2 Model M 2 shares one display panel with two independent counters.   Shown: Model XM2 Model XM2 is equipped with two completely independent counters and display facilities for use with X/Y tables or two individual input transducers or instruments. All functions are controlled by a keypad (included). It can be detached after entering scales, decimal settings, interface parameters, etc. to prevent inadvertent changes to programmed calibration factors. All installed scales, parameters, etc. are maintained by long life batteries after system switch off. Five scaler sections and two programmable secondary multipliers provide great flexibility especially for work with Lasico Measuring Oculars (Filar Eyepieces) Results are clearly displayed by large numerals and can be transmitted to virtually any computer and software program via the built in interface circuit and its unique system of hardware drivers. Features include a self calibration logic ( you simply measure a known length, area, etc. and key in its value and the processor determines and installs the required scale/multiplier), automatic averaging of results and two key programs to execute up to15 steps by the push of a button.

Mod. 1286-12S SKeypad Model M2 and XM2 Processors are controlled by a detachable keypad with 24 dual function keys. For some routine work, the multitude of keys can be confusing and can lead to errors. Since most of the keys are used only for the basic set up procedure and are not needed during the actual operation, we have prepared a special keypad to avoid this problem. After installation of calibration constants and setup of interface parameters, simply exchange the standard keypad for the customized Mod. 1286-12S Skeypad. The Skeypad has only a few essential buttons and is easy to use and most importantly, avoids accidental changes to the processor program instructions.The Skeypad retains the keys to control Display Clearance, Scaler Select, Averaging and Data Transmit functions.   Other Accessories like interface cables are listed in the next chapter;
