Model 1282C Digitizer / Planimeter

Model 1282C The Model 1282C is a compact “Wheel Digitizer”. A 1282 Processing unit is connected to the measuring instrument via a flexible cable. Its measuring range of 1.5’ x 6 ‘ and 0.45m x 1.8 m is geared mainly towards area and length measurements of maps, small drawings and evaluation of scientific graphic records. While it lacks the "built-in battery facility" of some competing devices, it is much more economical yet incorporates all the important features of our larger systems. It can be used by right and left hand operators. All frequently used controls are integrated into the cursor, always right at the operator's finger tips.
