Rolling Disk Planimeter
Models 1252 and 1262

Made in USA

The Rolling Disk Planimeter represents the highest level of conventional planimeter technology. Its measuring wheel runs on a special disk under ideal conditions and at accelerated speed.

THE MAIN ADVANTAGES OF THIS DESIGN INCLUDE:

    • A considerably higher level of accuracy and resolution, which makes this instrument equally suitable for evaluation of any size area, from very large to very small.

    • A large measuring range, which drastically reduces the necessity to subdivide areas for their evaluation.

    • Independence from measuring surface conditions. Torn or wrinkled paper and blueprints, glossy photographs, areas marked on wood, glass or metal, present no measurement problems, since the measuring wheel never touches the measuring surface itself.

LASICO offers two types of Rolling Disk Planimeters:

It comes with 2 arm extensions and a choice of either needle tracer (N1252 Models) or lens tracer (L1252 Models) and is supplied with case, test gage and instructions.
